Why does the TI-Nspire CX Family Software display a blank window when a .tns document contains a LUA script or Widget?
The TI-Nspire CX Family Software version 4.5.0.1180 may display a blank window when a .tns document contains a LUA script or Widget because of an issue identified by our development team.
If you use the emulated keypad to open a .tns document that contains a LUA script or Widget the document will display a blank window.
To work around this issue please follow the steps below:
1) Close the .tns document by clicking [File] [Close] or by using the key combination:
Windows: [Ctrtl]+[W]
Mac: [Command]+[W]
2) After the document is closed click [File] [Open Document...] then navigate to the file location, highlight it and click [Open]
3) The document will open normally.
