Solution 11884: Inappropriate Content on TI Graphing Calculator or Third-Party Developer Website.
What is TI's policy on inappropriate content for TI graphing calculators?
Texas Instruments does not condone or support the creation of inappropriate content for TI graphing calculators. However, we are aware that some third-party developers have chosen to create such content. TI will not link to any website on which TI is aware there is offensive content. If TI finds that one of these sites is distributing what TI considers to be inappropriate content, we will remove our link to the website until the offending content, as well as any other inappropriate content we identify, has been removed.
If TI does not link to the offending site, we will contact the webmaster and request that the offending content be removed. However, because TI has no control over the contents of a third-party website, we cannot require that they remove the offending content. We do encourage you to submit your own complaint to the webmaster, as well.
If inappropriate content is found on your child's or student's calculator and you are able to determine from which website this program was obtained, TI will contact the webmaster of that site and request that the offending content be removed. However, we cannot ensure they will remove the content. If the offending website happens to be one to which we link from our own website, we will remove our link to the website until the offending content, as well as any other inappropriate content we identify, has been removed.
To report instances of inappropriate content, contact ti-cares@ti.com with the URL of the website and name of the program(s) that are objectionable.
