Consumer Warranty: Australia
Mandatory Statutory Rights. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. To the extent TI cannot lawfully disclaim any applicable implied or statutory rights relating to this Product, nothing in this warranty is to be interpreted as excluding, restricting or modifying any State or Federal legislation applicable to the supply of goods and services which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. If you are a consumer, this Warranty applies in addition to the rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty. This Product is warranted to the original purchaser (“end-user”) for the period of three (3) years from the original purchase date (“Warranty Period”). This Product is warranted against defective materials and construction. This Warranty is void if the Product has been damaged by accident or unreasonable use, neglect, improper service or other causes not arising from defects in materials or construction. This Warranty is not transferable by the end-user. During the Warranty Period, if this Product hardware is found by TI to be defective, TI may, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law: (i) to the extent deemed feasible by TI, repair the defective portion of the Product hardware without charge to the end-user; (ii) replace the defective Product with a comparable new or refurbished product; or (iii) in the event that TI is unable to repair or under (i) or (ii), refund to the end-user the net purchase price the end-user paid for the Product. If the Product is replaced during the Warranty Period, the replaced Product will be warranted for the full duration of the Warranty Period. If the Product is repaired the Warranty Period, except to the extent that TI is expressly prohibited by applicable law, the warranty for the repaired Product will expire upon the expiration of the original Warranty Period or one (1) year whichever is longer. Other than the end-user’s cost to return the Product, no charge will be made for such repair and/or replacement. TI strongly recommends that the end-user insure the Product for value if the end-user mails it. Any warranty service or support under this Warranty is conditioned upon the return of the Product to TI or a TI authorized service provider located at TEXAS INSTRUMENTS (Australia), 44 Lakeview Drive, Scoresby, VIC 3179, Australia. Please allow up to three weeks for TI to send the replacement. TI does not promise that facilities for the repair of this Product or parts for the repair of this Product will be available.
Limitation of Liability. Subject to the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law and to the extent that TI is expressly prohibited by applicable law, TI hereby disclaims all other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. TI shall not be liable for loss of use of the product or other incidental or consequential costs, expenses or damages incurred by the end-user or any other user. To the extent TI cannot lawfully disclaim any implied or statutory warranties or guarantees relating to the Product, the end-user’s statutory rights are not affected by this clause.
Notice for TI Calculator Products with Rechargeable Batteries: TI recommends that you use the TI-provided USB cable and power adapter (if either is included) with this TI calculator. If you use a third party cable and/or power adapter, you should ensure that the cable and power adapter meets applicable safety and operational standards and certifications, including UL and CE certifications. If you have questions regarding use of particular third cables or power adapters with TI products, you should contact the seller or manufacturer of the cables and power adapters. TI does not provide any guarantee or warranty regarding the functionality, reliability or quality of any third party cables and power adaptors used with TI calculator products.
Software: Software is licensed, not sold. TI and its licensors do not warrant that the software will be free from errors or meet your specific requirements. Except to the extent required under the Australian Consumer Law, all software is provided “AS IS” and without a warranty of any kind.

This warranty contains information that supersedes any other warranty that may accompany this product.
This Texas Instruments electronic product warranty extends only to the original purchaser and user of the product.
One-Year Limited Warranty for Commercial Electronic Product
Warranty Duration. This Texas Instruments electronic product is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date.
Warranty Coverage. This Texas Instruments electronic product is warranted against defective materials and construction. This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident or unreasonable use, neglect, improper service, or other causes not arising out of defects in materials or construction.
Warranty Disclaimers. Any implied warranties arising out of this sale, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the above one-year period. Texas Instruments shall not be liable for loss of use of the product or other incidental or consequential costs, expenses, or damagesincurred by the consumer or any other user.
Except as expressly provided in the One-Year Limited Warranty for this product, Texas Instruments does not promise that facilities for the repair of this product or parts for the repair of this product will be available.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
Legal Remedies. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
Warranty Performance. During the above one (1) year warranty period, your defective product will be either repaired or replaced with a new or reconditioned model of an equivalent quality (at TI’s option) when the product is returned to the original point of purchase. The repaired or replacement unit will continue for the warranty of the original unit or six (6) months, whichever is longer. Other than your cost to return the product, no charge will be made for such repair and/or replacement. TI strongly recommends that you insure the product for value if you mail it.
