Monday Night Calculus: Your Questions, Our Answers

Like last year, the sessions will cover content and questions that teachers have asked for, as well as original, unique problems on topics that come up in the sequence of teaching AP® Calculus.

From Wright Brothers to Ingenuity
Posted 06/30/2021 by Karlheinz Haas (@karl0294)April 2021 marked the first time in history that an object built on Earth made a powered, controlled flight on another planet. The tiny NASA-built helicopter Ingenuity took off from aptly named Wright Brothers Field. This event provided teachers with a great opportunity to explore topics well within the high school, and even middle school, curriculum, and apply them through such a timely and exciting experience.

Can You Hear the Ball Bounce?

In our new ball bounce activity, we take a new look at an “old” data-collection experiment. Adapted easily to a remote learning environment, teachers and students can share and analyze real-world data — it’s a slam dunk!
