Craig Blackburn, Ed.D., has been supporting educators in California for 30 years. His experience includes service as a teacher, elementary principal, district curriculum and assessment leader, and school improvement consultant. In his current position at the SCCOE, he provides leadership and support to a team of professional learning leaders in the areas of iSTEAM, educational technology and Career Technical Education. Blackburn believes technology is a lever that can transform school systems from an industrial-era model to a student-centered model, where personalized learning for every learner is the norm. Blackburn earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University, Irvine; a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s College of Moraga; and a Doctor of Education degree from Concordia University, Portland.
