Students can experience the joy and beauty of mathematics through the study of magic squares and their remarkable patterns.
Magic squares provide students with opportunities to solve problems, to pose questions, to be immersed in playfulness and to learn more about the history of mathematics. In this webinar, we will make direct connections between magic squares and middle and high school curriculum. We will use TI technology to delve deeper into topics such as arithmetic sequences; linear, quadratic and cubic functions; and matrices. Join Ken Collins and Ron Lancaster for “sum” fun!
