Exploring Common Core Topics in Algebra with
TI-Nspire™ Technology

Designed for educators who need support transitioning to Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Mathematics as they apply to a high school algebra curriculum, this workshop covers the basic features of the TI-Nspire™ CX handheld and TI-Nspire™ Teacher Software, with special emphasis on tough-to-teach algebraic concepts and new Common Core content standards.

You’ll discuss the role of technology in the Common Core Math Practices and explore dynamic, interactive algebra lessons aligned to CCSS. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to use TI-Nspire™ technology to deepen student understanding of key CCSS topics in algebra.

Overview

This in-person workshop is available in one- and two-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available. The two-day workshop offers a more extensive exploration of topics. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.
