Designed for high school Algebra 1, geometry and Algebra 2 educators who need support transitioning to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), this workshop focuses on key content standards, along with essential technology skills for the TI-84 Plus family of graphing calculators.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be comfortable using the TI-84 Plus graphing calculator and TI-SmartView™ emulator software to deepen student understanding of important TEKS topics in Algebra 1, geometry and Algebra 2.
This in-person workshop is available in one-, two- and three-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available. The two- and three-day workshops offer a more extensive exploration of topics. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.

This workshop addresses TEKS content standards in high school mathematics, with a focus on building pedagogical skills for leading discussions, asking students to explain their reasoning, and engaging them in TEKS Mathematical Process Standards with the TI-84 Plus family of graphing calculators.
