Exploring TEKS Topics in High School Mathematics with TI-Nspire™ Technology

Designed for middle grades educators who need support transitioning to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), this workshop focuses on key content standards in sixth, seventh and eighth grades, with a focus on algebra in eighth grade. By exploring interactive, TEKS-aligned activities, you will learn essential technology skills for the TI-Nspire™ handheld and TI-Nspire™ Teacher Software.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be comfortable using the TI-Nspire™ CX handheld and Teacher Software to deepen student understanding of important TEKS topics in pre-algebra and algebra for sixth, seventh and eighth grades.

Overview

This in-person workshop is available in one-, two- and three-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available. The two- and three-day workshops offer a more extensive exploration of topics. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.
