This workshop is designed for high school mathematics or science educators interested in introducing STEM projects to their students using the TI-Innovator™ Hub with TI LaunchPad™ Board, along with either TI-Nspire™ CX technology or TI-84 Plus CE technology.
In this workshop, participants will explore STEM concepts and develop engineering skills by designing and coding electronics. In addition, participants will learn to guide students on the path to building their own STEM projects with activities that support the development of engineering skills. Participants will learn how to lead students to synthesize, build and understand unique projects of their own creation using TI technology.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to say, I can:
Note: Participants should have basic working knowledge of either TI-Nspire™ CX technology or TI-84 Plus CE technology prior to attending this workshop. It is recommended that educators attend a “Getting Started” workshop prior to participating in this workshop.
This in-person workshop is available in one- and two-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available. Participants will use either the TI-Nspire™ CX handhelds or TI-84 Plus CE handhelds, along with the Hub and corresponding TI-Innovator™ Breadboard Packs. The two-day workshop offers a more extensive exploration of topics. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.
