This workshop is designed for educators who have attended an intermediate-level TI-Nspire™ workshop and are interested in authoring TI-Nspire™ documents for middle grades or high school mathematics classrooms. The workshop introduces advanced TI-Nspire™ authoring skills by examining the characteristics and structure of effective TI-Nspire™ documents.
Learn to use notes with math boxes to interact with other built-in applications, enabling dynamic displays of functions or calculations. Explore the use of conditional attributes to dynamically hide, show or change the properties of graph or geometry objects based on user input, variable values or calculated expressions. Create and edit dynamic math programs, functions and algorithms with Lua scripting to meet specific curriculum needs. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to develop rich, interactive TI-Nspire™ documents supporting mathematics teaching and learning.
This in-person workshop is available in one-, two- and three-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available. The two- and three-day workshops offer a more extensive exploration of topics. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.
